Shack/Slum Dwellers International (SDI) is a network of community-based organizations of the urban poor in 33 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. It was launched in 1996 when federations of the urban poor in countries such as India and South Africa agreed that a global platform could help their local initiatives develop alternatives to evictions while also influencing the global agenda for urban development.
The UP Department of Geodetic Engineering & Traning Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry (DGE & TCAGP) are the country’s leading institutions in geospatial education, research, training and extension, serving the nation through its undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and its various training modules. During the 88th regular meeting of BCAT Board of Regents held on February 19, 1985, Board Resolution No. 10-1985 was approved wherein the curricula for the following courses namely BS in Civil Engineering, BS in Electrical Engineering, BS in Mechanical Engineering, BS in Education and BS in Architecture were approved for implementation effective school year 1985-1986. It produce the first lone graduate in BS in Architecture in March 1986. From thereon, the Bulacan College of Arts and Trades continuously produced architecture graduates under the School of Engineering and Architecture.
